Day 1
Assistance upon arrival at Delhi Airport / Rly station and straight drive to Corbett National park.
Corbett Tiger Reserve: India’s first national park, cradled in the foothills of the Himalayas at 3300 feet asl, spreads over an area of 520 sq km. The magnificent Ramganga River flows through the entire length of the Park. Corbett has the highest density of tiger in India. Other carnivores include the leopard, elephant, bear, deer. Basking along the banks of the Ramganga are the slender snouted gharial and the marsh crocodile. There are watch towers, elephant safaris and jeep safaris for wildlife viewing. On arrival check in at the wildlife resort. Afternoon free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 2
Start your day with a refreshing walk in the national park. Return to the resort for breakfast and after short rest proceed for Garjiya Temple along with river Kosi. After lunch enjoy safari at the national park. This park offer the rare view of the most celebrated wild animal of the country, Tiger. The other animal found in the wilderness includes elephant, hog deer, Sambar, Chital, leopord and more. Return back to resort and overnight stay.
Day 3
Leave Corbett after a late breakfast. Reach Ranikhet – the forested and serene town in Kumaon by afternoon hours.
After settling into hotel, discover the romantic pathways thru pine, deodhar, oak forests and perhaps catch the sun disappearing beyond the horizon. Overnight at Ranikhet.
Ranikhet: At 6000 feet asl, it is a serene and peaceful hillstation foreshadowed by conifer forests and surrounded by snow clad Himalayan ranges from the Bhagirathi peaks in the west to Nanda Kot in the east.
Day 4
Wake up to catch a beautiful view of the Himalayan Ranges. Discover this quaint hill town.
Ranikhet offers golfing at the 9 hole Army Course besides being known for the orchards of Chaubatia and Jhoola Devi Temple.
An old church runs as a factory, with the war widows of the Kumaon Regiment Centre operating looms to knit Australian Merino wool into shawls.
Overnight at Ranikhet.
Day 5
Early morning drive to Kausani. On arrival Check in at hotel. The place offers an excellent 300 km wide views of the Nanda Devi group of Mountains. Majestic view of the snow covered Trishul and Nanda Devi is so clear that one gets a feeling of the snow within touching distance. Day free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6
Leave Kausani after a relaxed breakfast and reach the resorts in Almora (5800-6300 feet asl) / Binsar (7000 feet asl) by lunch time.
After settling into the resort imbibe the essence of another natural jewel of Kumaon. Take a short hike for a taste of the local countryside. Overnight at Almora / Binsar.
Day 7
Leave Kausani after a relaxed breakfast and reach the resorts in Almora (5800-6300 feet asl) / Binsar (7000 feet asl) by lunch time.
After settling into the resort imbibe the essence of another natural jewel of Kumaon. Take a short hike for a taste of the local countryside. Overnight at Almora / Binsar.
Day 8
Early morning drive to Nainital. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9
After morning breakfast proceed for visit to Sattal, Bhimtal, Naukuchiyatal and Nainital. Dotted with lakes, Nainital is popularly known as ‘Lake District’ of India. The place offers magnificent view of snow-capped peaks, verdant valleys, rolling meadows and crystal lakes. In the afternoon enjoy boating on Naini Lake. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10
Breakfast followed by drive back to Delhi. Reach Delhi and take flight for onward destination.
