Day 1
Assistance upon arrival at Bangalore airport and proceed to Coorg. On arrival check into hotel. For sometime relax at the amidst the comfort of your room. Coorg is famous for oranges & coffee plantations. The town reflects an old world charm and is famous for undulating hills, garrulous rivers and is home to some of the finest tourist attractions. The major tourist attractions are mesmerizing Abbey Falls. Later proceed to the Raj’s Seat from where you can enjoy panoramic views. Overnight stay at the Resort.
Day 2
After breakfast proceed to see the other attractions of Coorg. Talacauvery (the origin point of River Cauvery) and Bhagamandala (the point where Cauvery assumes the shape of a river). Later proceed to the ancient temple, Omkareshwara which was built in 1860. Proceed to Madikeri town in the evening and enjoy shopping for honey, coffee and spices as souvenirs of your tour. In the evening fall back to the hotel for another stay. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 3
Morning breakfast, checkout of the hotel and proceed to Wayanad, on arrival at Wayanad, check in to the hotel/resort. Afternoon half day tour visiting to Lakkidi – the gateway to Wayanad, is situated 700m above the sea level, lofty peaks, gurgling streams and luxuriant forests, then visit Ambalavayal Heritage Museum – housing artifacts and belongings of the various tribes of the land. Reach and check into hotel.
Later proceed to visit Pookot Lake – this perennial fresh water lake, nestled among wooded hills, is the only one of its kind in Kerala. Boating facilities and a fresh water aquarium are among the tourist facilities and then visit Meenmutty Waterfalls. Return to hotel, dinner and over night stay at Hotel.
Day 4
Today after a hearty breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Ooty. On arrival, check in to the hotel and later during the day, go for the exciting sightseeing tour of Ooty. Soak in the beauty of the placid Pykara lake and the Doddapetta peak that is ideal for photography. No visit to Ooty is complete without a stroll in the Rose Garden. After viewing these mesmerizing locations, proceed to one of the finest natural golf courses — the Ooty Golf Course — and get an insight into the wonderful history of tea at the tea museum. In the evening, you can enjoy boating at the Ooty lake. Return back to the hotel and have a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 5
After a delicious breakfast, visit Conoor, one of the most famous hill stations of the Nilgiri hills, by the famous toy train (Buy a train ticket directly 1 hour prior to the journey). The car will be waiting for you at the Conoor railway station. After the enjoyable train journey, proceed to visit the beautiful botanical garden or Sim’s Park, Lamb’s Rock that overlooks the Coimbatore plains and the Dolphin’s Nose. After sightseeing, drive back to Ooty and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Ooty.
Day 6
Mysore PalaceMorning, after breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Mysore. On arrival at Mysore, then visit Chamundi hills, St. Philomenas Church, Mysore Zoo, World famous Mysore Palace and evening visit Brindavan Gardens (KRS) which is famous for musical Color Fountain, overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7
After breakfast, check out the hotel and visit to Srirangapatana, which was the capital of the warrior king Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan, having magnificent monuments and then drive to Somnathpur, which is famous for the Chennakesava Temple. The temple is one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture and it is in the care of the Archeological Survey of India as a protected heritage site. Then proceed to Bangalore. On arrival at Bangalore, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
